TI-DIS Bouquet

Neotel’s Network Services (≤ 10 Mb/s)

Provides circuit between the site and a TENET Gateway, via a local lead and Neotel’s MPLS network.

       

Neotel’s Network Services (> 10 Mb/s)

Provides circuit between the site and a TENET Gateway, via a Neotel local lead and Neotel’s MPLS network.

 

     

IS’s ADSL IP Connect service

Provides shared circuit between Telkom’s ADSL network and a TENET Gateway.

   

   

Provides own site router, but TENET manages it

Sites provide their own site modem/router but TENET configures and manages the device remotely.

   

 

Provides own connection to Reefhead

Sites provide their own link into a TENET gateway, This option enables foreign institutions to connect.

     

 

IS’s provision and management of site router

IS provides, installs and configures the site router.

     

IS’s Service Management

IS monitors the performance of the GEN3 networks, and manages fault reporting, escalation, resolution and closure.

     

IS’s International Connectivity

IS provides bulk layer 2 connectivity between the TENET Gateway and the UbuntuNet Hub in Telecity, London.

 

TENET’s Gateway Services

TENET provides settlement-free peering with all-comers national and internationally, as well as national and international transit and REN transit via UbuntuNet.

 

TENET’s NREN Services

TENET manages all layer 3 services at the Gateways, and provides web-caching and extensive mirroring services.

 

Telkom Internet – Direct Internet Service

Internet access, kindly provided by Telkom independently of the other GEN3 services, for sites that Neotel cannot reach by 31 March 2008.
